The way people use websites is changing.  The days of clicking on a link are vanishing, thanks to smartphones.

Instead of sliding a mouse around to move a cursor, people are now sliding their fingers across their screen to scroll through content.  This is a huge change in behavior, and it’s one that requires changes in how websites are designed.

The next time you access a smartphone on your website, contrast your interaction with the website with how you would interact with that same website if it were on your laptop.  It’s a very different set of expectations and interactions.
